As a VRF Sales Engineer (field based role) you'll promote and sell air conditioning products to our A/C specialists contractors, achieve spec-in through Specifiers, and identify new business opportunities while exceeding sales targets. Utilise your extensive NSW commercial network among builders, contractors, and developers to win and facilitate deals for large-scale projects, ensuring high levels of product knowledge and customer training. Description As a VRF Sales Engineer your main responsibilities will be to; - Achieve regional sales targets within the NSW territory and provide necessary action plans. - Visit Air Conditioning Specialists, Contractors, and Mechanical Building Services Engineers/Consultants to discuss product applications, training needs, and project conceptual designs. - Update product Data Manuals, achieve product "spec-in," maintain project follow-up, and schedule products on projects. - Build and maintain relationships with existing and new partners. - Provide technical advice, support dissemination of literature and technical data, and conduct product seminars and marketing events. - Support roadshows, trade exhibitions, and handle phone calls from specialists, contractors, and consultants. - Process phone orders and coordinate order fulfilment with relevant departments. - Coordinate with internal sales, sales admin, and warehouse staff regarding deliveries and resolve delivery issues. - Undertake equipment selections, prepare quotations, and support reporting systems. - Provide regular competitive information, market trends, and attend customer and company functions, meetings, and conferences. Profile As a VRF Sales Engineer you will; - Hold a relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience and white card. - Has relevant experience in the air conditioning industry, including system selection and application. - Highly motivated in managing accounts and developing business partnerships. - Skilled in developing and implementing sales plans focused on strong customer relationships and air conditioning system sales. - Able to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand format. - Excellent communication skills and proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Willing to travel interstate and overseas as required. - Customer service-focused with strong communication and negotiation skills. - Strong work ethic and adaptable to meet varying work demands. - Capable of working independently and as part of a team. - Great communicator, diplomatic, and responsive. - Excellent negotiator with ability to handle pressure in difficult situations.
