The Role Thi position has come about due to fact that the current encumbant has been promoted. Our clients are searching for a go-getter allrounder, who prides themsleves on their brilliant Administration/Customer Service skills to join their team on the road to their continued success. Knowledge of the transport industry is not essential but would be advantageous – and the successful candidate will be rewarded with a challenging role that offers a rare level of autonomy to get the job done. Importantly there will be scope to continue your personal career development to other areas of the business in due course – it’s really just up to you This role involves: Being the first point of contact for queries and information. Working directly with the customer to achieve desired outcomes. Working directly with the customer on new ideas and service offerings. Liaise closely with our client and their on-site management. Liaise with their internal team to ensure delivery expectations are met Resolve any issues with their internal distribution team and transport partners. Report any barriers impacting delivery excellence. Identification of Continuous Improvement opportunities and working with their manager to review and implement. Supporting the collation and reporting on KPI’s to their clients General admnin support The ideal candidate will: Be results orientated with a positive attitude. Strong administration skills Be self-motivated – a proven ability to work steadily and accurately without direct supervision. Communicate professionally with customers, receivers, suppliers and service providers Have a willingness to learn and develop in a Supply Chain environment.
