Working closely in conjunction with the engineering manager you will be responsible for: Leading a team of engineers on a day-to-day basis by delegating tasks Directing medium and long-term project delivery Running with a concept and turning it into reality over time Work collaboratively a with multi-disciplinary team to design new and exciting product Create 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings using PTC Creo Finite Element Analysis on designs Re-design and improvement of existing product Create concept images About you To be successful in the role you will bring: Years of relevant experience in light manufacturing An in-depth knowledge of automation, mechatronics, and robotics Team leadership skills and experience at a senior level Knowledge of relevant Australian and International Standards including ISO13485:2016 Experience designing medical and laboratory devices Knowledge of international standards and requirements for medical equipment Relevant knowledge and skills with CAD software, Inventor, Solidworks, Creo FEA experience both with hand calculations and simulation Have relevant experience with blood, pathology, medical type of equipment Minimum Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering 5 to 10 years of product design experience with light equipment and automation Machine, Part and Component design experience An eye for the finest detail and precision Be a solutions focused Engineer with a desire to help others NO SPONSORSHIP IS AVAILABLE.
