Our clients are both multi-award-winning national law firms seeking to hire Junior Legal Assistants with a minimum of 1 year of administrative experience. Candidates with a background in the legal industry will be highly regarded. However, if your administrative support experience has been gained within other areas of professional services then you may also be considered. Candidates with specific exposure to insurance and/or personal injury litigation are encouraged to apply. The law firms are located in the bustling legal hub of Sydney's CBD and each position is full-time, working 5 days in the office with the potential for hybrid working after a 6-month qualifying period. The specific legal admin support work you will be involved in differs depending on the role you are successful for, including: Motor Vehicle Accidents and TAC matters Dust Disease Insurance Litigation Superannuation Insurance Litigation Workers' Compensation matters As a Junior Legal Assistant in a private practice law firm, each day will be challenging, fast-paced and see you undertaking responsibilities including: Preparing Barristers' Briefs and Court documentation; Managing the diaries and appointments of Lawyers; Electronic billing; Organising, copying and filing complex legal documentation; and Ad-hoc office administrative duties.
