Our client is searching for a creative Design candidate with strong Women's Smart / Tailoring experience. Boasting a large team of Designers our client is seeking a candidate who enjoys working collaboratively to create commercial cohesive ranges. They’re a leading Australian retailer, known for their flexible work model. It's a fast-paced business so this opportunity is perfect for a motivated, highly creative, and experienced Designer with a proven track record creating commercial womenswear. Key Responsibilities: Ensure styles are designed/developed and executed in line with the trend/design brief that is set, with the wider design team. Support buying team and drive design to source stock fabric to enable us to react to in season trade. Supporting delivery and implementation of the critical path and operating plans. Identifying and delivering detailed style direction to develop existing products, as well as proposing new product opportunities. Providing input to the product strategy, marketing plan and range development for the sub-brand or product department. About You: 5 years in a similar role within tailoring and multicategory womenswear. Excellent knowledge of all fabrications and product categories. Familiarity in dealing within a fast-paced dynamic environment. Strong technical knowledge and garment construction skills.
