Environmental Industries is always on the lookout for skilled and experienced Leading Hands and Supervisors to work within our construction division servicing our Clients within the Perth Metropolitan area. It is essential that you can demonstrate a background in landscape construction and civil works projects and previous experience working within a medium size organisation will be highly regarded. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and driven to achieve high standards of workmanship and have an ongoing commitment to driving health and safety within the workplace. Skills and Experience Leadership experience managing crews on multiple projects within a commercial landscaping construction environment Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people, both internal and external Strong planning and time management skills the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively Effective problem solving and negotiation skills Demonstrated high level commitment to and knowledge of industry related health and safety processes and procedures Strong business and financial acumen with proven ability to deliver cost effective solutions for both the company and its Clients Intermediate to advanced computer skills including MS Office Tickets, Licenses and Qualifications Valid Driver’s License –C Class (manual-highly desirable). A HR license will be a bonus. Basic Traffic Management Ticket-(highly desirable) National Police Clearance (less than 6 month old at own cost) White/Blue Card CERT IV Frontline Management (or equivalent work experience) Diploma/CERT IV Horticulture (desirable) You must have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen.
