They are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, exploring current product lines for growth, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as a deep understanding of market trends and business practices. ABOUT THE ROLE Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base. Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Collaborate with the leadership team to create and execute effective marketing campaigns. Prepare and present proposals, business plans, and reports to senior management. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners. Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Tertiary qualifications in any technical field. Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or Senior Sales Representative in a similar role. Strong understanding of market dynamics and industry trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners. Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel as needed. A background in Building, Construction or Mining industry is advantageous Hold a current Driver's Licence (mandatory). Exceptional organisational and time management skills. Proven record of exceeding sales targets within a competitive sector Outgoing and team orientated with excellent influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills.
