Experienced Female Support Workers required to join our care team for our SIL client in Williamstown. Multiple shift types are available and we prefer support workers who can be flexible to provide support in-home & support outings as required by the client. Day, evening and inactive overnight shifts across a 7 day per week care roster are available. Living within 30mins from Williamstown is highly preferred. Requirements To be considered for this role, we require you to hold: Certificate IV in Disability, Community Service, Aged Care (preferred) or other relevant qualification such as Mental Health NDIS Worker Screening Check (mandatory or willing to complete) National Police Check Working with Children Check First Aid certificate and CPR (preferred) NDIS Workers Orientation module (mandatory or willing to complete) Eligibility to work in Australia Fully COVID Vaccinated (Triple vaccinated) with evidence. Current full driver’s license Competencies and Experience: Previous experience in a similar role – Minimum of 2 years relevant experience. Previous experience of supporting People with disabilities. Previous experience supporting clients with Behaviours of Concern and Behaviour Support Plans Demonstrated proficient english written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to prioritise effectively and organise your own work /caseload. Demonstrated commitment to professional development, quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
