Queensland Rail has a current project pipeline of over A$10 billion and this is expected to grow exponentially in the build-up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games. As a result of this significant investment, the need to secure in-house signalling and systems assurance resources is paramount. Based in Brisbane, we currently have a full time permanent opportunity for a Signalling Design Manager to provide leadership that ensures the successful delivery of signalling designs for Major projects. Key selection criteria High level of skill in leading and managing a professional, client and business focussed engineering team providing strategic and technical advice, design and verification services, and delivery management. High level of skill in communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Sound knowledge of signalling technologies applicable to a large transport and logistics based organisation. High level of skill in the field of rail systems infrastructure, including managing flexibility in response to changes in industry environment. High level of skill in the application of and ensuring compliance with Legislation, Regulations and Practices in regard to safety, environment, contract processes and employment in a commercially focussed business. Knowledge of and willingness to commit to and work within Queensland Rail's Values and Behaviours. Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical/Electronic). Professional Engineer (Queensland) Registered (RPEQ) preferred.
