As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a talented Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer with experience in the construction sector, ideally with building product manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both timber and steel, with the ability to design, analyze, and oversee the production of structural components that meet stringent Australian standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and engineer timber and steel frames and trusses for residential projects. Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS). Collaborate with the design and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and ensure the highest quality of products. Provide technical guidance and support to clients, builders, and internal teams. Review and approve shop drawings and specifications. Conduct site inspections as needed to ensure proper installation and adherence to design specifications. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously improve our products and services. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field. Must hold current Australian qualifications and be registered with Engineers Australia. Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural/civil engineering Proficiency in structural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla). Experience with both timber and steel materials is essential.
