The Opportunity Our Weekend Warehouse Supervisor has the responsibility for the overall running of the weekend shifts of our QLD fulfilment centre in Crestmead. You will lead by example and ensure all tasks are performed to the highest standards. You will coach and mentor team members, helping them operate efficiently, safely and to targets. Creating a positive environment of continuous improvement is something you will strive for everyday. You will be leading our weekend team which will require you onsite at Crestmead 4132 for 4 days between Friday and Monday (as well as public holidays). What you'll be doing • Maintain a safe environment at all times. This is demonstrated by identifying, assessing and mitigating workplace hazards, creating a secure and compliant environment for all employees. • Providing exceptional customer experience by ensuring we provide timely service and delivery to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. • Manage the overall running of the weekend shift • Coach Team Leaders to improve quality and output by frequently observing standards and providing team members with important feedback • Address daily staffing needs of the fulfilment centre through effective rostering • Motivate team members toward productive results and reaching KPI targets • Evaluate team members performance and assist with performance assessment and development against KPIs • Lead by example ensuring all Work Health Safety (WHS) standards are the highest priority across the fulfilment centre • Ensure all team members are following our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Provide team members with supervision and act as an escalation point for any issues that arise • Conduct regular toolbox talks and daily team briefings to facilitate high performance and achieve outcomes • Complete end of shift reports accurately to ensure a smooth end of day handover • Execute end of day tasks such as housekeeping to ensure a smooth transition for the next shift • Immediately report and submit documentation on all performance or safety related matters for managerial follow up Your Ideal Skills and Experience • Experience in a similar role in a fast-paced warehouse environment • Proven ability to work collaboratively with individuals and in cross-functional teams • The ability to keep your finger on the pulse by supervising your team over a large work space, and always monitoring team's performance • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Safety focused with general knowledge of WHS policies and procedures • High attention to detail and confidence to execute decisions • Can do attitude, reliability, commitment and a strong work ethic • Forklift Licence desirable but not essential We have an incredibly passionate team, a leading brand, 700,000 customers and growing, and we’re only just getting started At Pet Circle, candidate experience is of utmost importance.
