We are expanding our SHAPE Modular offering and seeking a Design Coordinator to coordinate and manage the implementation of BIM processes and technologies throughout the design phase of our awesome modular construction projects in Adelaide. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of BIM software, design principles, and coordination methodologies. You can also look forward to working closely with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors ensuring effective collaboration and seamless integration of BIM models throughout construction. In this role, you will: Assist in managing the design process and ensure all operational design functions are maintained efficiently Assist Project Teams to Identify opportunities for up-scoping, value engineered designs and profit improvement throughout the concept and design phase Monitor and manage commercial outcomes while maintaining design intent and integrity through all phases of a project Administrative support through management of our Design register, Workshop drawing and sample registers. Document Control, issuing RFI’s and administrating Building Permits and Authority Approval Process. Develop and maintain BIM environment for the modular, including establishing BIM implementation strategies, standards, and protocols for design activities, and oversee their adherence throughout the project lifecycle. This role will be based at our SHAPE Adelaide office and our Modular Facility based in Ottoway. Our people giveback by getting involved in our many CSR initiatives About you Experience within the modular construction industry is preferred. experience in a similar role (or a genuine passion to be part of our modular division) a degree or diploma in a building, construction or architectural field. ability to build and maintain great relationships proficient drafting capabilities in BIM software platforms such as Revit, AutoCAD, Aconex., and other related tools.
