The Role Lendlease have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Design Manager, with a Building Services Background to join, and help lead the design of multiple building services packages, on our upcoming pipeline of Commonwealth Government work in Perth. As a Services Design Manager with Lendlease, you will act as the client’s design point of contact with a strong focus on the management of consultant design teams and coordination with the cost planning and construction team. Leading several building services (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and HVAC) design packages, you will review compliance, chair design meetings, manage document control and ensure all technical requirements are met. To be successful you will need: To be an Australian Citizen at the time of application, with the ability to gain and maintain a Government security clearance. Experience as a Design Manager, Project Manager, or Engineer on major building construction projects with strong design coordination experience. Degree qualification in a relevant field of study (Engineering or Construction Management related), and/or MEP trade background, with relevant experience managing various services packages. Strong Leadership skills, ability to drive customer focused outcomes, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and sustainability. Demonstrated strong communication skills, and a collaborative nature; all are key when engaging with multiple stakeholder groups.
