We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administration Assistant to join their team based in the heart of Sydney City. Position Overview: The Administration Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. This position involves a variety of administrative and office management tasks, including onboarding new employees, managing accounts payable, coordinating travel arrangements, and providing IT support. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a well-organised and functional work environment. Order and manage office supplies, including stationery and business cards. Employee Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Source and set up IT equipment for new hires. Train new employees on company IT systems and processes. Travel Coordination: Plan and coordinate interstate and international travel arrangements for employees. Ensure travel plans are efficient and cost-effective. Accounts Payable: Process and manage accounts payable transactions. Maintain accurate financial records and assist with financial reporting. IT Support: Provide basic IT troubleshooting and support to employees. Liaise with external IT service providers as needed. Timesheet Management: Collect, review, and manage employee timesheets to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Administration Assistant or in a similar role. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Basic knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with accounts payable and financial record-keeping is a plus.
