The Role: Our key client is seeking an experienced Civil Drafter with local experience to become a key member of the Melbourne team. In this role, you will work alongside a dynamic group of engineers and designers, contributing to the successful delivery of subdivision and civil infrastructure projects. Your expertise in civil drafting, particularly within the Australian context, will be instrumental in producing high-quality plans and documentation that meet both client and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings and plans for subdivision and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and other relevant software. Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and consistency across all project documentation. Review and interpret project briefs, specifications, and survey data to develop precise and compliant designs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices, particularly those applicable in Australia. Assist in the coordination of project timelines and deliverables to ensure deadlines are met. Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as required. About You: To be successful in this role, you will have: A minimum of 3-5 years of local experience in civil drafting, with a strong focus on subdivision design. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other industry-standard software. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. A solid understanding of civil engineering principles, particularly in relation to subdivisions within Australia.
