As the Operations Administrator, you will provide vital administrative support to the General Manager and ensure efficient daily operations. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and monitoring day-to-day operations to ensure alignment with company objectives and industry standards and facilitate a smooth administrative process. Based in the beautiful Whitsundays, they will be part of a team that values integrity and teamwork andprovides a customer-focused, high-quality service. About You The key to your success in this role is your demonstrated experience working independently in a fast-paced and diverse environment. You will also have exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands. Required Skills Organizational Skills: Proficient in managing calendars, schedules, appointments, and travel arrangements efficiently while handling multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with managers, customers, and stakeholders. Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in preparing documents, correspondence, and reports. Problem-solving skills: Proven capability to anticipate issues, identify solutions, and independently resolve problems. Adaptability: Flexible approach to adjust to changing priorities and handle unexpected situations calmly. Technology Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with online communication tools. Initiative and Proactivity: Demonstrates initiative to complete tasks and support the General Manager's goals without constant supervision. Project Management: Ability to anticipate needs, manage projects, identify issues, and propose solutions to support decision-making processes. Experience & Education At least 5 years of operational and administrative support and coordination experience. Experience closely working with the General Manager or the Senior Management Team and delivering high-quality administrative support service. Marine industry experience is preferred but not essential. Diploma or equivalent in business or management is desirable.
