Due to continued success, we are seeking a Project Engineer to join our skilled and reputable team of industry professionals. This full time permanent position based in Henderson with some travel to sites, will report to the General Manager-Projects and Engineering and schedule and forecast and project manage all resources and engineering and technical activities of assigned projects ensuring accuracy, safety and quality from conception to completion. Immediate start available. To be a successful, you will have the ability to work on multiple discipline projects, establish project criteria, ensure proper implementation of project elements, review project engineering deliverables, assess risks and initiate appropriate corrective actions to keep projects on time and budget. Skills and Experience 5 years plus project engineering, project management and planning Experience working within a medium enterprise manufacturing mining/construction environment Sound business acumen with the ability to manage costs across multiple projects Strong working knowledge of software (AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and Helix) Commitment to safety, quality and sustainable work practices High level planning and organisational skills with strong attention to detail Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills Intermediate to advanced level computer, design and visualization technology skills High level verbal and written communication skills Ability to prepare and interpret drawings and project reports and apply Australian and International standards as applicable Qualifications Degree in Engineering (Mechanical- Highly Desirable) Membership with Engineers Australia or equivalent international organisations Diploma in Project Management (Desirable) We will also consider graduate or junior project engineers.
