We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Process Engineer to join us in our Infrastructure Development team in Melbourne, Victoria or Brisbane, Queensland on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Team Lead – Process Engineering, you will provide engineering design, technical document preparation, support for package engineering, construction and commissioning for APA projects for new assets and upgrades to existing plant and equipment. Key Responsibilities Prepare engineering design documentation for concept, front end and detailed design stages of assigned projects Prepare detailed engineering design documentation including calculations, SOW, specifications, datasheets, reports, drawings etc. These include deliverables such as line sizing calculations, PSV sizing calculations, Restriction orifice sizing calculations, vent and blowdown studies, Piping and Instrumentation drawings, Cause and Effect Diagrams, line lists etc. Provide engineering support during construction, commissioning and handover to operations; Contributing to project workshops such as HAZOP and LOPA including acting as a scribe to support workshop facilitator Review (as delegated) design calculations, datasheets, reports, documentation and drawings prepared by Engineers and provide input, as required to continuously improve relevant engineering standards, policies and procedures relating to project engineering. Your background Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering admitting to corporate membership of the Institution of Chemical Engineers or equivalent (Required). Demonstrated experience as a Process Engineer in a design related capacity, preferably in the oil and gas industry Working knowledge and experience conducting common design calculations such as line sizing, PSV sizing, Restriction orifice sizing, vent and blowdown studies etc. Demonstrated experience preparing common design deliverables such as Piping and Instrumentation P&ID drawings and Process Flow Diagrams, line lists, Cause and Effect diagrams.
