Haynes are currently seeking interest for a Mechanical Fitter & Forklift Mechanic for our clients located in Mackay. Key responsibilities Upholding safety standards and procedures within a manual handling environment Conduct maintenance, service and repairs to existing customers for Forklifts, EWPs and other machinery as per manuals Maintenance, Service & repair of diesel machinery (i.e - FL, drift runners). Complete training on Hyundai products, Special Tooling, Intranet Portal, Global Portal and simPRO Quotations, Job Management etc. Complete reports and documentation accurately Perform inspections on machinery, plant and equipment identifying current and potential problems or faults Working within a team environment and autonomously Roles are mainly workshop based, with some requiring travel to site Competitive pay rates Monday - Friday rosters on offer About the Role Motivated and strong work ethic Physically fit to pass a Pre-Employment Medical D&A Screening, where required Drivers Licence and reliable transport Trade Qualification Advantageous Qualifications : Experience with Caterpillar SIS, experience in component rebuilds, Forklift ticket, First Aid Certificate At Haynes, we keep things simple: We back the talent of our people and land the jobs that best suit their needs.
