The role Working closely with internal and external stakeholders in the planning and coordination of events hosted by UniBar and other licenced locations across the University of Wollongong campus, whilst overseeing day to day operations of the UniBar. The UniBar Events & Operations Manager will bring strong strategic and commercial acumen, as well as operational expertise to maximise profitability and customer service standards. Requirements Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. Completion of Licensee Training for a Tier 1 venue and hold a current licence. Previous experience being a licensee for a Tier 1 venue is desirable but not essential. Extensive experience working in a bar and cellar environment. Experience in the planning, coordination and operation of live music events and entertainment. Willing and able to undertake training required to obtain and maintain Liquor Licensee status for UOW Pulse. Valid forklift licence is desirable but not essential. Valid drivers licence is desirable but not essential. Demonstrated high level organisational skills with proven experience in leading and managing a diverse team. Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to react quickly and effectively to unexpected operational issues.
