Receptionist, Wonthaggi Hospital Wonthaggi Hospital services the Bass Coast and South Gippsland shire communities and offers a range of services, including Pathology, Acute Ward, Radiology, Theatre and Maternity. The Imaging Associates team is excited by the opportunity to provide radiology services to the community in this region and seek to engage a highly qualified and dedicated radiography team providing a range of high-quality imaging services. As the Receptionist for our Radiology department, you will act as the first point of contact for all patients. We need you to provide top-notch service and care to everyone who walks through our doors: compassion and empathy are key and you will work collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure that our radiology service offering is provided in a professional and respectful way. Key responsibilities include: Welcome patients and provide them with information about their appointment Liaising with hospital staff to facilitate in patient imaging Manage calls and patient bookings Respond to enquiries from patients and referrers Manage patient invoicing and receipting What’s on offer? To be successful, you will need to have: Proven experience in a similar role, ideally in the healthcare/medical industry Exceptional customer service skills, both face-to-face and over the phone, and communication skills Confidence with technology and the ability to learn new systems Strong MS Office suite experience Experience working autonomously and part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes Availability to work across a roster (8-hour shifts) to cover the operational hours of 8am to 6pm (Mon-Fri) More about the team you’ll be joining In 2011, a team of dedicated radiologists set out to create a new radiology practice with a difference: different as a partnership of owner operators, and different as a practice that prioritised care and compassion first.
