The role of Retail Merchandise Manager is to lead the Merchandise Strategy, Buying and Visual Merchandise execution for all B&M stores across the ANZ region. The role involves developing and executing effective buying strategies to ensure the right products are sourced, procured, and made available at the right time and price. The Retail Store Merchandise Manager works closely with other departments to maximise profitability, optimise inventory levels, and meet the organisation's overall business objectives. Key Strategic Objectives Curate assortment plans and brand layouts for all stores inline with Merchandise Strategic Objectives Manage a visual merchandise in store team, identifying and actioning merchandising opportunities to increase sales Leading a team of Visual Merchandisers through training and development Overseeing and implementing regular collection launches across multiple sites with the opportunity of interstate travel Connect with the suppliers to ensure point of sale execution and collection launches are met Manage overall assortment and planograms for all stores ensuring the correct mix of vertical and third party brands align with strategic plans Work alongside Allocation to ensure all assortments and plans are achieved and optimised Work alongside Marketers & Planning to plan out seasonal marketing campaigns, content and promotions Monitor aged inventory in store and highlight to planning poor performing styles for clearance to exit Coordinate seasonal send backs for distressed styles or aged inventory back to stores Develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and Suppliers Analyse market trends, consumer preferences, sell through, seasonal demands to formulate a buying practice in line with company objectives Work with all Heads of Departments within the Merchandise Team to achieve organisational outputs regarding timelines, completion dates and assisting in analysing data to create compelling fashion ranges for our CK customer Constantly provide feedback to merchandise and planning to ensure we are optimising inventory and assortment in store Skills and Experience Ability to develop, manage and maintain strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders Exceptional understanding of the fast fashion market, with an ability to interpret trends and build ranges to ensure brand cohesion and variety High level of written and oral communication & negotiation skills Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Proficient computer literacy skills Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through Strong ability to analyse and review data APPLY NOW There has never been a more exciting time to join Culture Kings as we expand, innovate, and continue to be the most sought-after streetwear retailer on the market If this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for, we want to hear from you.
