The Opportunity As a Storeperson, you will be supporting with various duties across the warehouse from goods inward through to dispatch including inventory management and the upkeep of relevant administration tasks. You will also support with ensuring customer satisfaction through the picking, packing and dispatch of online orders. This is a permanent full-time opportunity and will be based onsite at the Blackwoods DC, Greystanes . Please note that you must have a valid forklift license for this role. Some of the tasks of the role: Operate a forklift and other machinery/equipment to assist with daily tasks Support with goods inward and dispatch duties including loading and unloading vehicles Move stock safely through the warehouse and ensure safe storage practices Pick, pack and prepare online orders for dispatch in a timely and accurate manner Conduct relevant warehouse administration tasks (including stocktaking) Assist with the dispatch of products at the trade counter to ensure correct order collection Some of the skills required: A valid forklift license Exposure to warehousing activities Intermediate computer literacy The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team as required Experience within a customer facing or customer centric environment desirable Our Story Blackwoods is Australia’s leading supplier of industrial and safety supplies.
