Description The role We are seeking a client focused, tech savvy, experienced Legal Assistant to join our Property team, to provide outstanding organisational and administrative support. The property team provides conveyancing services (both residential and commercial) as well as advice on all aspects of commercial property for the affordable housing sector, NFP sector, religious property trusts, as well as commercial landlords and tenants. The role requires a mix of legal secretarial skills and PA capability. You will be responsible for document preparation, diary and email management, attending to telephone enquiries, client liaison, conveyancing tasks (including undertaking searches, contract preparation, adjustments, PEXA, Duties Online), correspondence and other administrative PA duties. Responsibilities You will: Take new client enquiries and triage calls Support our clients with your strong customer service and communication skills Assist with drafting correspondence, legal documents and bills Be a super organised admin guru and help us manage our files Navigate and use multiple technology platforms for efficient communication and file management Have a sound understanding of conveyancing, PEXA settlements and online searching tools (InfoTrack) Arrange and manage calendar and appointments with our people and clients Support our team with other admin tasks that hit your desk Help the team track and achieve goals and milestones Show initiative and be motivated to find solutions Skills And Experiences What we’re looking for in you Our ideal candidate is an excellent organiser and communicator, with at least one year experience as a Legal Assistant, ideally in a commercial property or conveyancing legal environment. You have already proven yourself to be a strong team player, confident to embrace technology, proactive and client focused. You work well under pressure to meet deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail. A thorough understanding of conveyancing, PEXA, online searches and Microsoft Suite 365 is essential and knowledge Work 10 (FileSite) and or Affinity is welcomed. We are seeking someone who can deliver excellent service to the firm's clients by building and maintaining effective relationships, as well as developing an understanding of our clients and their business.
