An exciting opportunity has become available for an Store-person to join our successful team To be successful in this role, you need to have worked in a fast-paced role within a stores/warehousing environment, operating forklifts and pick packing, as this will be a major part of this position and deliver high quality customer service at all times. Responsibilities: • Following procedures by overseeing incoming and outgoing freight • Picking, Receipting & invoicing parts purchased & Sold • Provide accurate records & ensure they are maintained, report any picking, packing or damaged stock etc discrepancies to Parts Manager. • Maintain a clean and organised warehouse • Putting stock away, stock shelves to correct levels. • Assist in all stocktaking whether yearly or rolling as per company procedures. • Follow all opening and closure procedures to ensure parts and store is secured. • Ensure customer service & satisfaction is maintained at high standards • Communicate with other team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time • Delivering & collecting goods • Maintain a neat and safe environment in the store and yard. To be successful in the position, you will have: • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment • Attention to detail & strong organisation skills • Computer literate • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively both written & verbally • Committed to comply with all OH&S procedures. • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time • Must have current drivers licence • Licence to operate forklift and ability to operate other warehouse equipment • Self Motivated, able to work in a team environment & follow instructions from branch manager This role is min 40hrs per week and Saturday Roster System 1 to 2 per month may be required If you are looking for a positive workplace and seeking a long-term position with job security and you feel you meet the above criteria, please send us your application.
