About the Team We are looking to enhance our organisation’s performance and are striving for excellence in delivery of projects on time & on budget, with our community at the heart of everything we do. An established core portfolio formed through the consolidation of open space, property and civil infrastructure project delivery teams, the portfolio is a blend of experienced project superintendents managing delivery contracts and specialist internal construction delivery teams. This team of specialists are responsive to leaders who empower them to deliver through setting clear strategy and expectations. Public value will be achieved through delivering capital and operating projects within set timeframes and financial parameters, supporting excellence in customer experience & fulfilling commitments to our community by delivering our strategic initiatives in a diverse organisation. The team is currently configured as just over 40 FTE. Reporting to the General Manager City Operations , this senior position will provide the strategic direction and lead the Construction & Delivery Portfolio to ensure all related functions support the delivery of our Community Vision. To be successful in this role you will have: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on safety, service delivery, budget management, commercial management, innovation and operational excellence. Post graduate or professional qualifications in business management or a related field, and significant demonstrated experience at a management level.
