Maurice Blackburn is seeking a Senior Legal Assistant/Office Coordinator to support our exceptional legal team in Darwin (you can be physically based in Brisbane or Darwin). This role is a full-time fixed term contract for a period of 12 months. In this role, you will champion our values, provide unparalleled client service, and provide leadership and mentoring to our legal support staff. Your responsibilities will include providing legal assistance, administrative support, team collaboration, and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Champion the Maurice Blackburn values and advocate for clients to make a positive difference in their lives. Provide legal support to an established legal team Provide leadership and mentoring to existing legal support staff Work collaboratively to provide exceptional client service and drive high performance Work proactively to provide support where needed within the team to maintain efficiency and high performance The experience we are looking for Experience preferred as a Senior Legal Assistant within Personal Injuries (or similar) A working knowledge of court and legal procedures. Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite and general computer literacy. Unwavering attention to detail, coupled with a methodical approach to tasks. Demonstrate a growth mindset to support business development and financial initiatives. A proactive attitude, and the ability to demonstrate leadership and collaboration within the team.
