About the Role Reporting to the DTC Sales & Operations Manager (based in Aus) this newly created ‘NZ Retail Manager’ role will lead the day-to-day management of our eight retail stores. Based out of our Auckland office, with a strong head office support structure out of Melbourne, this role will be well set up for success Specifically, this role will include, but is not limited to: Lead successful achievement of store budgets, review weekly performance and continuously update store focuses to drive and achieve KPIs. Ensure wages are aligned to forecasts. Pivot with the dynamic retail environment by supporting stores and maximising opportunities. Distribution of weekly scorecards based on your collated store visit schedule and feedback. Drive KPIs by engaging your managers and teams through consistent weekly catch ups. Work alongside the People & Culture team – across all facets of people; leadership, succession planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance reviews and learning & development. Partner with our planning, merchandise and marketing pillars to ensure all stores are appropriately stocked, in-store executions are up to date and align with new seasonal product and floorplans. Leading stock takes as required or directed. Store locations: Onehunga, Manawa Bay, Sylvia Park, Westgate, Te Rapa, Papamoa, Tawa and Hornby. About you If you consider yourself a leader, a team player, a fast walker, someone who enjoys building dynamic winning teams and loves the challenge of exceeding retail metrics then this is the role for you. The successful candidate will possess the following: A love and passion for the Converse brand and a strong connection to the brand’s values: sustainability, diversity & inclusion and youth development. 2 years’ experience as a Regional Manager, District Manager or Area Manager whilst managing a portfolio of 5 stores. A love for people and a desire to deliver an amazing people experience in our stores – for both team and customers. Confidence to challenge the status quo and be solution orientated in your approach. Exposure to both outlet and first quality channels preferred. Knowledgeable of workplace laws & regulations and experience in leading employee relations matters on the ground.
