Join Harmony Agriculture and Food Co's Sales Team and manage their Wagyu export sales program into key North American and Asian Markets The Company Harmony Agriculture & Food Co is a leading producer and supplier of premium branded beef to global markets. Their current supply chains produce 4,300t of Wagyu F1 branded beef for sale and distribution annually. Harmony’s core capabilities lie in intensive livestock production and the sales and marketing of premium products. They are a dynamic, energetic agri-company with exciting plans for growth and currently have an opportunity to join their sales team as they expand their portfolio of global clients and markets. The Position As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales of Wagyu into key high value export markets. You will be responsible for leveraging and growing your extensive network, ideally within North American and Asian markets, whilst maintaining close relationships with existing key stakeholders across all market segments. You will work closely with other members of the sales and production team to ensure an accurate sales/production plans and be responsible for the ongoing development of trust between Harmony and their customers, based on exceptional customer service, and quality and consistency of product. Whilst you will focus on your key market segment, you will also work collectively with senior management and the sales team to identify new business opportunities and trends within the sector to ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing matrices. The Person We are keen to hear from you if you possess the following key skills, experience and background: Successful track record in a senior sales role, ideally with a sound understanding of red meat production and/or branded beef Knowledge of North American (Canada/USA) and/or key Asian markets Experience building a sales strategy that drives value and builds brand loyalty Highly adaptive and enjoys working within a dynamic market Knowledge of intensive livestock feeding operations and grain-fed beef supply chains Well-developed communications skills with extensive internal and external stakeholder engagement experience Decisive, pragmatic and collaborative with excellent problem-solving abilities Proven negotiator with well-developed influencing skills Tertiary qualification in an Agri-related discipline well regarded This is an outstanding opportunity with a market leading producer and supplier of high-quality Australian food.
