Where the team fits in The Product Designer is a member of the Platforms and Data team and partners with Product and Engineering teams across the Technology function and the broader REA business, to create amazing products and experiences for our stakeholders. The design team is the engine room for REA’s technology infrastructure, platforms and products. The team creates intuitive and personalised experiences, providing stakeholders with the knowledge to leverage T&D’s products, services and experiences with ease and satisfaction. What The Role Is All About As a Product Designer in the Platforms and Data team, you’ll create experiences that help the technology and data community build REA products and services and drive value. Our team build, support and provision critical infrastructure, platforms, products and services, that support REA technology and product teams to generate value for our consumers and customers. You will: Explore new ideas and creative solutions that surprise and delight our users and create a positive brand for our internal technology products, services and experiences. Understand business opportunities, user needs, competitive landscape, and technical constraints to deliver products and experiences that drive user satisfaction and value. Deliver world-class products and features for our users, leveraging methods such as research, ideating, user interface design, prototyping and getting stakeholders engaged and aligned with our solutions. Validate design solutions using qualitative and quantitative research techniques. Work with others to plan, prioritise and undertake 'just enough design' using a lean mindset to achieve goals and deliver on objectives Deliver commercially feasible user-centric design solutions that meet team goals and business objectives. Present work and participate in providing feedback in regular design critiques to ensure consistency and quality outcomes.
