Description Uniti Group, a leading digital infrastructure company based in Melbourne, is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join its team. This role will involve overseeing the rollout of networks, specifically focusing on managing the construction and delivery of Opticomm Fibre-to-the-Premises networks. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Ensure timely and budget-conscious completion of projects within the portfolio Manage the deployment and rollout of infrastructure to support FTTH in Uniti/Opticomm communities Supervise construction works conducted by subcontractors and ensure quality assurance Address faults in Uniti/Opticomm residences and infrastructure Coordinate with developers regarding project specifications and timelines Ensure compliance with the construction division's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies Manage resource requirements in the region Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives Cultivate relationships with subcontractors Provide regular project reports to Uniti/Opticomm management Liaise with developers regarding project timing About you: The ideal person for this role will have/be: Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail Exceptional oral and written communication abilities Self-motivated and adept at managing priorities and time efficiently Capable of collaborating with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders Adaptable to a dynamic, ever-changing environment A team player who can effectively contribute and share knowledge and skills Innovative mindset, constantly seeking creative solutions to enhance past experiences Takes the initiative for continuous personal development, consistently identifying and honing skills and talents Demonstrates integrity through honesty, transparency, and trustworthiness Essential Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the Telecommunications construction industry, with a focus on greenfield and brownfield developments Proven track record in managing civil contractors for the delivery of telecommunications pit and pipe infrastructure Proficiency in using Telstra’s Automated Duct Reservation (ADR) system Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental requirements relevant to project works Exceptional project management skills, including planning, organizing, leading, and controlling projects effectively Formal qualifications in project management are advantageous Traffic Management Implementation accreditation is advantageous Construction White Card certification is required Valid Driver's License required About us: Uniti Group is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where everyone is valued and respected.
