We are seeking an energetic and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our team. Located at West Footscray , this position is offered as a Permanent Fulltime Role on Day shift. The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for daily maintenance of the electrical control systems on site, completing scheduled tasks generated by the CMMS and of engineering-based compliance activities As a Maintenance Electrician you will: Maintain Electrical Plant Control Systems Performing Preventative Maintenance of electrical control systems in the plant Stores and parts management Reduction of control system associated machine downtime through The creation and completion of work orders on a timely basis Nil non-conformances on engineering-based compliance tasks Carry out work described by the Engineering Manager In order to be considered you will have: A Grade trade qualified electrician, preferably with PLC knowledge. Qualification in hazardous area electrical work (EEHA Licence) Working at Heights Ticket Strong planning and organisational skills. Computer literate in MS Office programs including Word & Excel, spreadsheets and database Be able to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both written and verbally. Ability to work with people at all levels Self-motivated individual able to identify problems and take appropriate action.
