About The Role As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack. You will be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. This position is based onsite, in our Cheltenham factory. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Store work; including forklift driving / loading and unloading of materials, etc; packing of orders; receiving in stock items and orders; general duties - Read delivery dockets to ensure goods are despatched on time and in full - Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders - Aiding Logistics Manager and Despatch Co-ordinator - Inventory management, including stocktaking duties - Loading and/or unloading of vehicles and/or trucks - Maintain quality control by following established QC procedure s - Uphold company safety policies and adhere to procedures and safe work instruction - Participate in the manufacturing of doors and/or door frames About you: - Forklift driver certification is essential - Knowledge of factory or manufacturing processes - Physical fitness with the ability to undertake manual-handling activities - Ability to follow operating procedures - Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team - The ability to read and write, along with arithmetic skills, is crucial. - Ability to use hand tools and operate basic machinery We are the ASSA ABLOY Group Our people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
