We are on the hunt for a Bar / Venue Manager or an Assistant Bar Manager ready to take the next step in their career, to join us at Melbourne Airport. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of Stomping Ground, balancing staff management, maximising revenue opportunities and exceeding customer expectations. Bar Management experience A strong background in bar operations with extensive knowledge of liquor, bartending and service protocols A focus on guest satisfaction through the delivery of exceptional customer service Adept at supporting, developing and motivating a team to exceed customer expectations Have experience in daily operational reporting and liaising with partners and senior management. A proven experience working within financial targets including managing budgets, controlling stock, and overseeing labour Confident in ensuring compliance with food safety and operational standards Capable of fostering and upholding a workplace culture aligned with our brands Possess the skills to lead diverse teams, with a strong emphasis on training and developing team members Diploma in Hospitality Management highly regarded Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate Food Safety Certificate or willing to obtain at onboarding Passion for the hospitality industry, customer-focused, energetic, and self-motivated A people leader, who can create an energetic and inclusive environment while instilling a sense of fun Experience in recruiting, mentoring, training, and developing An interest for the craft beer industry Strong communication skills Flexibility to a work a variety of shifts over a 7 day a week roster including morning, days and nights Reliable own transport as some shifts are not supported by public transport to and/or from the airport Melbourne Airport serves as a primary transportation hub in Australia, facilitating travel for millions of passengers each year.
