Citrix Administrator Are you a seasoned Citrix Administrator with strong exposure to the broad spectrum of Citrix technologies? Are you looking for a new role with a reputable company within the financial services industry? If yes, then we want to hear from you. As the Citrix Administrator you will be responsible for administration and ongoing support of the Citrix environment for a well know financial services organisation based in the Sydney CBD. You will also have understanding of Microsoft Technologies with the ability to troubleshoot issues in a timely manner to resolution. Principal Responsibility: Core Infrastructure Management: Oversee the Core Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policies, Citrix Policies, Citrix StoreFront, Client Plugins, and Receiver that form the Citrix environment. Security and Access: Ensure a secure Citrix environment, enabling end-users to access applications and data securely by configuring Citrix policies and monitoring for security breaches. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve issues by working with end-users, analyzing system logs, and collaborating with vendors on Citrix product-related problems. Application Deployment: Package and deploy business applications totheCitrixXenDesktop environment, including installation, publishing, testing, and coordinating with business units for sign-off. Proactive Monitoring: Monitor Citrix environments to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact end-users. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to the Citrix environments, including configuration, installation, and troubleshooting procedures. Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users and assist with Citrix-related issues. Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize Citrix environments and implement performance and cost-saving solutions. Service Quality: Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of service in infrastructure provisioning and support tickets. Experience: 1-3 years in a similar role in Citrix operational support. You will ensure the Citrix environment runs smoothly and securely while providing excellent support and optimizing performance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Citrix technologies, including NetScaler, XenApp, XenDesktop, and Citrix Cloud. Experience with Active Directory, OS technologies, and Group Policy Management. Knowledge in VMware vCenter Virtualization, Application layering, and application packaging. Experience managing and working in a virtualized environment, including server provisioning and monitoring. Exceptional communication and customer service skills. Strong work ethic and high attention to detail. Ability to liaise with both technical and business stakeholders. Strong written documentation and verbal communication skills.
