As a Legal Officer your role will encompass: Drafting and negotiating leases and licences across a diverse portfolio of clients Drafting and negotiating event licences for a range of up and coming events Providing advice on novel issues and the legislation applicable to our clients You will be joining a highly collaborative and supportive team with strong stakeholder relationships. No two days will be the same For more information read the full Role Description: Legal Officer What you will bring to the role Strong research skills and the ability identify key issues and think critically to find strategically focused and evidence-based solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to draft written legal advice that is clear, concise and outcomes focussed Previous experience as a Legal Officer or an experienced Paralegal (Please note you will need to be admitted or qualified for admission as a Solicitor or Barrister in the Supreme Court of NSW and hold a practising certificate) Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Property Law; or Commercial Law; or Statutory interpretation What is an essential requirement: Admitted or qualified for admission as a Solicitor or Barrister in the Supreme Court of NSW and hold, or be eligible to hold, a NSW Practising Certificate.
