Contract Administrator - Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 Super Monday to Friday -7:30am to 4pm You will play a vital role in supporting the efficient management and administration of contracts within construction projects. This role involves working closely with the operations manager, project manager, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to guarantee compliance with legal requirements, project schedules, and contractual obligations. Your responsibilities will include document management, contract review, cost tracking, invoicing/progress claiming and other general administrative tasks. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in construction contract administration or project management preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Procore or similar project management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant regulations is preferred. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities: Contract Management: Assist in the preparation, review, and administration of contracts, including subcontract agreements, variations, issuing purchase orders, invoices and progress claims. Maintain accurate contract documentation and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Track and manage contract variations and extension of programs. Document Control: Maintain a systematic filing system for all project-related documents, including contracts, drawings, correspondence, and reports. Distribute contract documents to relevant stakeholders and ensure timely communication of updates or revisions. Assist in maintaining version control of contract documents and ensure accessibility to authorised personnel. Cost Tracking and Reporting: Assist in tracking project costs, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses. Prepare regular reports on project costs, budget variances, and financial projections. Support the preparation of progress claims, invoices, and payment applications in accordance with contract requirements. Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. Serve as a point of contact for different parties involved, providing relevant information and encouraging discussion to settle disputes.
