This is an exciting chance to be involved in the design, construction, and maintenance of electrical, telecommunications, renewable infrastructure, and transmission and distribution networks, The Offer: $48 per hour based on a 36 hour week, 9-day fortnight (overtime paid according to EBA) Supportive team, vibrant culture with genuine career development opportunities available. 12.5% superannuation 17.5% annual leave loading $900 annual electricity bill reimbursements paid parental leave automatic income protection coverage, plus more The Role: There are multiple permanent and contract positions for qualified Electricians to join the team. You will report to the Team Leader or Supervisor and be actively involved in the construction of electrical infrastructure on substation and renewables projects, within transmission and distribution systems. Approximately 60% of the year will be spent working away from your base depot on project construction sites. The most common roster is an 11:3 roster working 10-hour days with overtime and travel allowances (these rosters may vary depending on the requirements of different projects). The Ideal Candidate: (mandatory) Current SA Electrical Trade Certificate or Current SA Electrical worker registration Current South Australian Drivers Licence Knowledge and experience in heavy industrial electrical construction, including installation of High Voltage equipment and systems Experience in construction of substations and/or renewable projects is highly advantageous Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings construction industry white card Desirable: High Voltage Switching Operator Accreditation (Cat 20 & Cat 2) High-risk EWP / Forklift / Working at heights / Current First Aid and CPR Our client is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace providing a work environment in which everyone is included, treated fairly and with respect.
