We’re looking for a passionate User Experience (UX) Designer with strong visual design skills & an appetite to strengthen your UX process knowledge. As a key member of the Webjet team, you will be directly impacting our user’s experience. You are passionate about creating polished, usable solutions to delight users. The UX team works in an agile environment with multiple projects running concurrently. You’ll conceptualise and create brand consistent, easy to easy-to-use, accessible designs for a variety of products and services following our formalised design patterns. You will be encouraged to own your projects, and discuss with stakeholders as required. Working closely with our analytics team, you’ll gather data to make informed design decisions, we are a data-driven company, which means research-derived insights will always trump self-referential design influence. Challenging the status quo and raising new ideas is highly encouraged Skills And Experiences What we love to see: A portfolio that clearly communicates your visual design contribution to mobile and desktop UI applications for consumer-facing products. Strong knowledge of usability principles as they apply to user interface design to make products useful and not just atheistically pleasing. Proficiency with multiple visual design software, especially Figma. Understand the concept of a Design System and how this applies to interface design and development. A demonstrated process with designing responsive (multi-device) designs using a mobile-first approach. Have a passion for interaction and visual design and actively seeking to grow your UX skills, process, and knowledge. Experience working in lean and agile environments would be a bonus.
