Huon is seeking an enthusiastic, qualified Electrician to join their Lighting and Electrical department at Port Huon. The role Working a 7 days on, 7 days off roster, the Electrician works closely on the infrastructure and electrical components required for Huon’s Underwater Lighting Program. You will: Manage the installation, repairs, and maintenance of the farm lighting systems. Oversee other lighting related projects including the set-up of generators and sub-board. Ensure the completion of preventative schedules, examining work for defects and ensuring conformance with specifications. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues and faults as required. About you You have a relevant trade qualification and a current Australian A grade Electrical License. You have effective verbal and written communication with confidence in your problem-solving and decision-making skills. You demonstrate a commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures. You have sound Microsoft Office skills. You are comfortable working on the water and in adverse conditions.
