About the Role Black Star Pastry is absolutely buzzing, and are looking for an experienced Store/Cafe Manager to lead our busy Chatswood store. This gorgeous space has it's own unique identity whilst still offering the full range of Black Star Pastry’s signature cakes, together with specialist products, and first-class coffee from our partner St Ali. With this we have a need for a Manager to join the leadership team, managing all areas of the store, including overseeing employee performance and the most importantly, the customer experience. Remuneration $74,200 Superannuation This is a full-time role offering 38 hours a week. Main Responsibilities Provide ‘hands on’ leadership within the store, overseeing all direct employees ensuring that they are trained in all store processes, standards and expectations. Communicate position expectations and monitor employee performance including coaching and counselling employees Ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards. Complete weekly rosters in a fair and consistent manner and within budget requirements. Maintain workplace cleanliness and WHS standards, establishing systems to ensure levels are consistent and acceptable, communicating clear expectations to the team. Ensuring quality of service by maintaining consistent standards, analysing and resolving quality and customer service problems, identifying trends and recommending system improvements.
