Looking for a fabulous retail manager About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to oversee 6-8 neighborhood centres across Melbourne’s CBD, East, and West regions. This temporary position, based in their CBD office, involves remote management and ensuring the centres run smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Maximize Net Operating Income (NOI) and CML income. Assist retailers in boosting sales and ensure high standards of property presentation. Oversee the presentation and maintenance of all buildings. Manage expenditure and ensure leases and documentation are executed and recorded accurately. Communicate regularly with owners and tenants, provide professional advice, and handle tenant negotiations, including rent reviews and lease renewals. Assist in driving leasing efforts, canvassing new retailers, and maintaining zero vacancy levels. Prepare monthly and annual reports, ensure compliance with all documentation, and manage the property database. Demonstrate strong leadership, assist in training, and manage internal resources effectively. Implement maintenance procedures, monitor contractor performance, and ensure adherence to WH&S requirements. Qualification and Skillset: Minimum of 4-5 years in a similar role with strong property administration skills, including knowledge of retail leasing practices and legislation. Excellent organisational, time management, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Proficient in MS Office and relevant IT platforms. Proactive, self-motivated, client-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision. Strong ability to build relationships at all levels. Ensure adherence to WH&S legislation and safe working practices.
