Description THE OPPORTUNITY Mulpha Hospitality are currently recruiting for the Front of House team for Sydney’s newest wine bar, Bar Messenger . Minutes from the Opera house and Botanic Garden and tucked away in the heritage listed Transport House, Bar Messenger provides a top tier wine list from some of Australia’s best wineries and wine regions, and a small, curated food menu. We are seeking fun and enthusiastic Front of House with experience in food preparation and service who can assist in the delivery of our venue’s food as well as work in the bar. This role will suit a variety of backgrounds and skill sets but ideally, we are seeking people with a café background wanting to move into bar and restaurant, or someone from a small bar environment with a love of great food and wine. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the industry and develop some great skills so if this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you YOUR BACKGROUND A great outgoing personality and attitude. 1-2 years of food and beverage experience in small wine bars or cafés. A desire to learn new skills and loves new challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Well-presented and takes pride in their work. Current RSA and flexibility to work around the Bar’s opening hours – Wednesday to Saturday evenings.
