Chef Part Time - Yarra Valley What We Are Looking For We’re on the lookout for a passionate and skilled chef ready to support the Head Chef and a small dynamic culinary team in the scenic Yarra Valley. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in busy a la carte breakfast and lunch; and also wedding and events services while possessing strong organisational skills. Your New Role Assisting the Head Chef, you’ll support the kitchen's creative direction, manage stock ordering and rotation, ensure kitchen administration is maintained to a high standard, and lead food preparation for both a la carte and events. What You Will Need to Succeed? You will have contemporary culinary experience and confidence on grill and pans Certificate 111 or higher in Commercial Cookery Work a combination of wedding and function preparation, weekend breakfast and lunch, in addition to evening events from Friday to Sunday Be task orientated and able to work independently and also efficiently with a small kitchen team Excellent organisational skills for stock management, service preparation and function service A creative culinary mind, eager to innovate and collaborate with Head Chef and Directors A commitment to working shifts over a Thursday to Sunday schedule, with hours flexing up during peak season and as business levels require What's In It For You?
