Job Description: As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of accounting and finance. You will work closely with our experienced accounting team and have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in a real-world setting. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements. Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records. Support the accounts payable and receivable functions. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with Australian taxation laws. Utilize accounting software such as MYOB and Xero to manage financial data. Conduct financial research and provide support for various accounting projects. Assist with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Participate in audit processes and provide necessary documentation. Qualifications: A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in using accounting software such as MYOB and Xero. Understanding of Australian taxation laws and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Effective communication skills and fluency in English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
