Our client, a prestigious national firm, is seeking a junior legal secretary or legal assistant to join their property team. Your duties and responsibilities include: Typing, drafting, proofreading, and collating various legal documents; Preparing commercial contracts, deeds, and agreements; Typing correspondence, memos, and email communications; Conducting property and company searches on SAI Global; Communicating with clients and internal staff via telephone and email; Entering timesheet data and preparing client accounts (billing); Assisting with property transactions, including managing trust account receipting, working with the accounts team on payments, and conducting searches Liaising with clients regarding queries and requests; Managing files and diaries, including travel bookings; Arranging meetings and coordinating with other secretaries; Email filing and electronic file management; Hardcopy file maintenance and archiving; and Performing other administrative tasks as required. About you: Committed, proactive, and service-oriented approach; 1-2 years of experience as a legal secretary; First-class organisational and communication skills; Accurate typing, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills; Experience with timesheet data entry and client account preparation (billing); and Knowledge of Aderant software (desirable).
