Our client, a legal firm based in Adelaide CBD seeks an experienced permanent full time Legal Secretary to join their team. The Role You will work in a busy legal team for a recognised industry expert in the Corporate and Commercial team. Responsibilities: Reviewing and editing drafts, confirming that the transcription is correct, complete, and consistent. Transcribing the dictation or notes of a legal practitioner. Producing a variety of documents from handwritten/typewritten drafts. Setting up new files accurately and speedily on instruction. To attend to both clients and lawyers in a professional manner. Takes pride in accurate record management. Maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of records. Skills and Experience: Experience with transcribing from dictation recordings. Fast and accurate typing skills. Corporate and commercial legal secretarial background, coupled with a very strong eye for detail and accuracy with systems would be advantageous. Experience with formatting documents. Highly developed organisation and communication skills. The ability to operate independently with a high level of initiative.
