The Client Sai Kripa Traders is a locally-owned business located in Lillybrook Shopping Centre in Kallangur, QLD. Due to a manpower need, they require a full time Retail Manager to join their team. The Role The Retail Manager is responsible for leading all operations and functions of the retail operations. This rare opportunity will see you take charge and lead by example as you manage and lead the team, and capitalise on business opportunities to grow the business. This role is a full-time position with an annual salary set at $70,000 $75,000 plus superannuation. Responsibilities Manage and motivate a diverse team of sales associates, ensuring high levels of customer service and team performance. Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining store standards. Provide exceptional service to customers, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and enhance store visibility, including promotions and community outreach. Ensure all store operations comply with relevant regulations and company policies, including those related to tobacco and lottery sales. Monitor store performance metrics, manage budgets, and handle financial transactions, including cash management and reconciliation. Executing and managing visual merchandising within the store. Flawlessly implementing the convenience store promotional and retail development plans. Requirements Minimum diploma level qualifications in Commerce or Retail Management. Knowledge of tobacco and lottery regulations is a plus. Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial retail management at a Managerial level Minimum of 3 years people management experience Strong operational management background Ability to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitement Demonstrated VM / volume stock management abilities Passion for driving customer service Good time management and attention to detail Proficiency in retail management software and basic financial reporting.
