We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Engineer - IT Systems to join our Information Technology team in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth or Melbourne on a permanent full time Basis. This role reports to the Team Lead, Service Operations, and is responsible for creating, implementing, securely managing, maintaining (lifecycle/patching), and supporting IT systems that integrate with and support Operational Technology (OT) across various sites. The focus is on continually improving operational performance, enhancing capabilities, and delivering and maintaining technology. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with APA IT Infrastructure Support Team, APA Infrastructure and Development Team, SCADA Engineering Team, and key APA partners Provide level 2/3 support and technical leadership for key IT systems/services supporting OT systems/services Coordinate with SCADA/ICS Applications teams to test and remediate compatibility issues with SCADA/ICS Applications on new SOE environments Coordinate SCADA/ICS Applications network communication firewall requests with network teams/partners Collaborate with Security Operations to manage security-based applications/services on SCADA (OT) workstations and servers. Manage application whitelisting policies using Ivanti on new SOE (servers) Manage security-hardened Microsoft Windows Server for SCADA Servers (HMI's) Your background Strong understanding of ITIL processes with ITIL v4 foundation accreditation Strong customer management skills and understanding of SLAs Experience with Windows Desktops, Linux Servers, Windows Servers, and SOE development in an IT/OT environment Strong knowledge of OT/IT systems and network infrastructure. Experience delivering and supporting IT systems in SCADA (ICS) environments Understanding and experience with security frameworks such as PSPF, ISO27001, and ISO27002 Experience deploying and testing application whitelisting About the Team Technology underpins everything we do at APA from helping connect millions of Australians to essential energy sources every day to achieving our net zero ambition - and the capability for our people to make this happen.
