About you: To be successful in this position you will have completed a Bachelor or above in Electrical Engineering, or similar. You must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience. You must also have a legal entitlement to work in Australia and be able to obtain necessary security clearances if required. You must have proven experience in major vendor technologies; specifying, designing, testing and commissioning control equipment, networks, instrumentation and other programmable industrial devices across a variety of industries. You will have a demonstrated understanding of applicable standards, codes, best practices and how to apply these. You’ll be a logical and critical thinker with great attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills and technical calculation abilities. Key Duties Control system design and specification (including industrial networks, automation equipment, instrumentation and control devices) with an awareness of ISA95 compliant architectures. Designing and modifying control system network architecture drawings. Writing functional description documents. Assisting with and reviewing multidisciplinary deliverables. Selection / specification of instrumentation Design / modify panel layout, schematic wiring and termination diagrams for industrial control systems. Developing EI&C schedules (cable, instrument, I/O, etc.). Developing changeover plans for brownfield control system upgrades. PLC/RTU Programming SCADA Programming Control System troubleshooting Control system FAT, SAT & Commissioning. Working collaboratively with a multidiscipline team.
